Semiconductor Production Supervisor – Dallas, TX Area
Our client is hiring Full-time, Direct Hire, Semiconductor Production Supervisor. This position will require all applicants to be located in the Collin County, TX area, and not require work authorization sponsorship. Hiring immediately.Location: McKinney, TX area.
Schedule: Standard - Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: Up to $95K depending on relevant experience.
Principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Lead and supervise a team of equipment maintenance technicians in their daily tasks, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules, ensuring that preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to prioritize equipment maintenance tasks that align with production schedules and business priorities.
- Willingness and ability to work hands on assisting team to recover equipment downs as required.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, utilizing your strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory of spare parts. Generate reports on equipment downtime, maintenance costs, and improvement initiatives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive training, equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among the maintenance technician team, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assists the team with difficult or complex concerns; acts as an escalation point of contact.
- Associate’s degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred; bachelor’s degree in engineering a plus.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in semiconductor equipment maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Equipment experiences with semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment including metrology and supporting equipment (e.g. Tencor, CV, ADE, Biorad) preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for managing data and generating reports.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to equipment emergencies outside of regular working hours.
