Schedule: M-F, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $40+ DOE, Hourly
Location: Boise, ID
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide Quality Assurance (QA) support services for HVAC and Mechanical insulation scopes across Facilities construction, Tool Install, and Base Build projects.
  • Focus on oversight, verification, and documentation to ensure work is executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality expectations.
  • Participate in planned hold points and witness points.
  • Review and validate QA documentation, including checklists, photos, test reports, and certifications.
  • Identify non‑conformances and coordinate resolution through established escalation paths.
  • Support turnover readiness by ensuring QA evidence is complete and accessible.

Requirements:

  • HVAC and/or Mechanical Insulation systems within construction or industrial environments.
  • Served a 4-year or 5-year apprenticeship training program and is currently a mechanical, state-licensed Journeyman HVAC technician.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and installation standards.
Preferences: 
  • Prior experience supporting semiconductor, cleanroom, or high‑reliability facilities.
  • Familiarity with Micron Facilities standards or Base Build projects.
  • Experience participating in QA audits, inspections, or turnover activities.
  • Knowledge of insulation systems (thermal, acoustic, fireproofing) and HVAC components.

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
