L2 Field Service Engineer – Parts Harvesting

Shift: M-F Day Shift / 40-hour work week not overtime
Pay Rate: $18 - $20 Hourly DOE 
Location: Hillsboro, OR

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct onsite assessments of semiconductor tools and use Bill Of Materials list (BOM) to identify components suitable for harvesting.
  • Utilize technical schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools to determine the condition and usability of parts.
  • Execute disassembly and extraction procedures according to established guidelines, ensuring the integrity and quality of harvested components.
  • Document parts harvesting activities, including inventory management and tracking of harvested parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and logistics, to prioritize parts harvesting efforts and ensure timely availability of components for maintenance and repair.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize parts harvesting processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment during parts harvesting activities.

Requirements:

Required Min 1-2 years on any semiconductor toolset.

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in disassembly and assembly of semiconductor tools.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment, including etching, deposition, and lithography systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
