Install Design Engineer – MD002

Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay Rate: $45 - $60 Hourly
Location: Baltimore, MD
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Tasks relevant to pre-design activities as they relate to Tool Install.
- Field verification, meetings, etc
- Understanding and properly translating existing building and safety procedures to detailed design.
- Reviewing existing layout and as-built conditions for all mechanical/structural/electrical and identify areas of deficiency or in need of upgraded capability to support new equipment
- Provide tool install package to be reviewed with appropriate design support teams – EHSFP, Facilities, Engineering. All drawing packages to adhere to NGC ATL standards and nomenclature.
- Generate design documents from initial kickoff through 35%, 65%, 95% and Issues for Construction (FC).
- Follow up with construction teams for as-built conditions post install and redline updates after installation closeout.
- Update and answer RFI for design related questions – with consultation with appropriate Engineering team and program management.
- Direct design package experience is required for this role.
