Equipment Maintenance Technician – Durham, NC
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in one or more fields (electrical, janitorial equipment, mechanical equipment, etc.).
Starting pay up to 27.00
Full-time, direct hire: Monday - Friday, 8-5

• Perform routine and predictive maintenance
• Perform general cleaning and maintains clean work area
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical & mechanical issues and then repair
• Strong customer service skills
• Comfortable communicating complex issues with superior, co-workers and customers in a professional manner
• Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments
• Familiar with and utilize proper Lock Out/ Tag Out safety procedures
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on all floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
• Respond positively to requests in a timely manner
• Ability to use hand and power tools. Soldering and welding a plus
• Maintain maintenance logs and schedules
Qualifications:
Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience.
Two years electrical and mechanical experience minimum.
High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
