Shift: Day Shift
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $79,000 DOE 
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position Type: Full Time

Principal duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Create detailed construction drawings/plans with CAD software, perform structural analysis, and integrate sustainable/energy-efficient solutions.
  • Project Management & Collaboration: Develop project schedules/budgets and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating across architects, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analysis, Documentation & Quality: Conduct simulations and tests to optimize performance, maintain comprehensive records for regulatory compliance, and uphold quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement & Client Engagement: Stay current with industry trends, identify safety risks, drive innovative solutions, and nurture client relationships through high-quality deliverables and responsive support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, with proven design/product development experience in manufacturing or engineering settings.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, understanding their continuity for effective design work.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data-driven insights to guide decisions.
  • Excellent communication abilities and knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in design engineering.
Preferred:
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Previous experience in construction, plumbing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems related to piping systems effectively.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations is necessary to
  • ensure designs comply with legal requirements and safety standards.
  • A strong understanding of engineering principles, including structural analysis, materials science, and construction methods for collision check.

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
