Our Journey to Market Leader

WGNSTAR’s evolution into a market leader for semiconductor workforce solutions was driven by a series of strategic acquisitions that brought together deep industry expertise and complementary strengths. The journey began when Westerwood Global acquired NSTAR Global Services, leading to a rebranding as WGNSTAR and a stronger, unified team. This synergy grew further with the acquisition of PSS Technical Services, strengthening WGNSTAR’s capabilities and service range. Today, WGNSTAR combines the legacy and expertise of these three companies to offer unparalleled workforce solutions and technical support tailored to the semiconductor industry’s unique demands.

Successful in a competitive bid to provide European IDM with OEM alternatives on Etch and Thin Films equipment for both preventative & corrective maintenance.

Westerwood Global increases successful FSE program to expand OEM alternative model into other locations throughout Europe.

Factory ramp project completed in Singapore, is Westerwood Global first significant SOW is Asia encompassing tool upgrades, tool relocations and process qualification.

Westerwood Global successfully awarded multi-year contract to deliver output driven manufacturing solutions to a major European IDM production facility.

Opening of US East Coast Operations centre in Malta New York to support North East client base and provide operations, logistics and training services.

Opening of Arizona Operations center in Chandler Arizona to support extensive customer base in the Phoenix area and support expansion of local Westerwood Global operations teams.
