Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 8am-6pm
Pay Rate: $25-$28 DOE Hourly
Location: Chandler, AZ
Position Type: Full Time

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Support the installation of new tooling and equipment.
  • Provide documentation and accurate record logging of work performed.
  • Provide maintenance and support of equipment throughout the fab
  • Train other employees on equipment and processes as required.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain robot controllers, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair units using factory manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Respond to on-call support request for production equipment as needed within 4 hours of receiving phone call.
  • Conduct basic path programming with teach pendant.
  • Perform I/O testing during commissioning of equipment.
  • Coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s), and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. 

Requirements:

  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques.
  • Ability to follow troubleshooting guide to test and diagnose equipment.
  • Ability to set breakpoints and step through C# codes to identify faults.
  • Ability to walk through trouble faults and determine path of correction with engineers overseas as needed.
  • Ability to work an on-call schedule and respond when required within 4 hours of being contacted.
  • 2 week training required in Singapore
  • Excellent customer interface skills
  • Must have previous semiconductor industry experience

Preferred:

  • Associates or higher in Mechanical engineering
  • Proficient in C, C#, Python, or other programming languages
  • Prior work experience installing or maintaining tools and equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Able to read Mechanical and Electrical Schematics
  • Mandarin speaking

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
